Dr Myriam Pâquet obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Montreal in 2019. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia and her research focused on the role of stress on physical and psychological health of individuals and couples dealing with various health problems and chronic pain. She specializes in the assessment, management and prevention of pain or injury, as well as in the psychological treatment of anxiety and depression. She advocates interventions that are part of health promotion and positive coping strategies, such as adopting healthy lifestyles. She also has an expertise in the psychological treatment of genito-pelvic pain and in couples therapy. Dre Pâquet offers psychological consultation services on a wide range of issues and situations in order to promote better physical and psychological well-being.
