Rodney Sassi, B.Sc, CAT(C), B.Ed Co-Founder of AXIO Sport Medicine clinic, Director of Sport Medicine services and Head Athletic Therapist Montreal Alouettes Football team
Rodney is a graduate from Concordia University with a bachelor of science, majoring in Athletic Therapy. He has been working with the Montreal Alouettes since 1998 having now obtained 20 years of experience in professional football. He oversees the entire rehab, return-to-play and prevention programs for the players.
He is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists’ Association and also is a first responder. Well experienced in soft tissue and orthopaedic injuries among professional athletes, Rodney is presently on the CFL health and safety committee and has been involved in creating the CFL concussion protocol over the past few years.
