Dr. Thierry Pauyo obtained his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School before joining the Orthopedic Residency Program at McGill University. He played a very important role as Chief Resident during the Royal College accreditation process. Dr. Pauyo is very involved in research specifically in arthroscopy and hip surgery. He also is involved in International Aid in Orthopedics in Haiti and other underserved areas.
He did his Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Pittsburg University and a second Fellowship at Harvard’s University in Pediatrics. Apart from being an excellent physician and leader, Dr. Pauyo is a talented hockey player having played for the Amherst NCAA Varsity Team. During his Fellowship training in Pittsburgh, Dr. Pauyo worked with the Steelers and the Penguins, and now that he has returned to Montreal he works as a consultant to the Montreal Canadiens
